Rocco Bellanova is a researcher of the Law, Science, Technology and Society at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and of the Centre de Recheche en Science Politique of the Facultés universitaires Saint-Louis. His main research interest, and ongoing PhD project, focuses on the powers and politics of data protection, and in particular on what data protection does to security and surveillance practices.
